And so it begins again!

                                 Chatter Creek’s 16th Season

Winter is here and with only 2 days until opening day, we’re counting down the hours until that first helicopter lands at the lodge and we can go skiing.
We have been getting consistent snowfall since the end of October.
With 120cm of accumulated storm snow over the last 7 days, we are off to a spectacular season!
The weather forecast is predicting another 20cm before Friday and we currently have 177cm of settled snow at the lodge.
As always, for the most up to date snow conditions, weather forecast and webcam images; visit our website.

Availability

We still have a few seats available in December including our two day Christmas trip December 24-26th. For the first time this year, Chatter Creek is opening it’s doors to guests over the holiday season for what promises to be a magical time.
Family are not skiers? Give us a call for the special “non skier rate” available on both our December 22nd-24th and December 24th-26th tours.

Spring Skiing Anyone?

Though we are mostly booked for the season there are still a few seats available at the end of March. Spring skiing at Chatter is known for its silky snow and nice long days. Don’t miss out!

 Terrain Development

We continued the hand glading program on South Lodge Ridge this fall. Between the first week of September and the first week of October, we cut for three weeks giving us an additional 30 hectares of perfectly spaced tree skiing. Combined with the work that was done last year, we’ve opened up over 50 hectares of forested terrain. The runs are near the lodge with the vertical ranging from 1700 to 1000 feet.  Bring on the Glades of Glory!
