“Numinous” Crew Films at Chatter Creek

Last March, everyone at Chatter Creek was stoked when a crew of talented athletes, cameramen, photographers and media specialists came to work on an exciting new project.

Throughout the week the snow was deep as the sun poked through the clouds just enough between storms to make filming possible – but not so often as to make it easy.

“Numinous” is the name pro skier Kye Petersen has bestowed on his new creation. We don’t know much about this project except that a teaser is due out in the fall, and we can’t wait to see some spectacular footage from Chatter Creek and other locations.

Unfortunately, due to a minor injury he sustained just a few days before their scheduled day of arrival, Kye was unable to join the trip he and Guillaume Tessier had organized. In his place, pro skiers Callum Pettit from Whistler and Revelstoke’s Chris Rubens put on a terrific display of their exceptional talents.

As usual, the pro skiers were enthusiastically followed by a highly skilled camera crew. For the week, we were thrilled to work with filmmaker Guillaume Tessier, drone operator Chris Flynn and photographer Alain Sleigher. Rounding out the team were brothers JF and Martin Durocher from Bite Size Entertainment filling the roles of writers and media specialists.

Here are a few photos submitted by Alain Sleigher:
