Ski, Snowboard & Avalanche Airbag Rentals
Chatter Creek offers a great selection of high performance, deep snow rental skis from Salomon and K2, and snowboards from Prior, Trapper and Burton. If you like easy turns and cruising effortlessly through the mountains, we have the skis or snowboard for you. The terrain and snow at Chatter Creek is quite different from what you’ll find at the ski area and our selection of rental equipment will help you get the most out of your holiday.
Ski and Snowboard rentals are $50 per day and Avalanche Airbag rentals are $40 per day.
Ski rentals are available in lengths ranging from 153 to 185 cm. Based on your height, weight and skiing ability, our guides will choose the ideal rental skis the night you arrive at the lodge. Ski rental reservation is no longer needed as we have extended our fleet to accommodate all of our guests.
A note on ski boot and binding compatibility. If you have alpine ski boots with standard alpine soles, your boots are compatible with all of our rental bindings. If you have AT boots with non-alpine soles it’s very likely that your boots will only be compatible with our ‘MNC’ bindings on the Salomon QST 118, K2 Reckoner 112, K2 Mindbender 115 and K2 Pontoon. Some AT boots are incompatible with all of our rental bindings. Please view this compatibility chart for more information.
A limited number of snowboard rentals are available and we suggest reserving one ahead of time. If you plan on renting a snowboard, please note that we only supply bindings in men’s size medium and large. If those sizes don’t work for you, we recommend bringing your own.
*We do not rent skis or backpacks for ski touring, you will need to bring your own gear.*

Salomon Rocker 2
A playful deep powder ski. Super wide platform, TWIN Rocker profile and very light weight tip and tail construction let you surf in deep powder.
Even the sidecut helps reduce tip and tail hang up especially in mixed snow. Available in 172cm. 139-115-129
K2 Mindbender 115C
We tasked K2 pros like Mckenna Peterson and Anna Segal with perfecting a versatile powder crusher, and accepted the challenge of delivering the fat ski they’ve always wanted. With their feedback in mind, the 115 C is versatile enough to take on even the burliest of lines while still remaining playful on powder.
The 115C W’s are built upon a lightweight Aspen Veneer Core and infused with our Power Rocker profile to maximize float and resiliency on those long powder days. K2 Reckoner 112
You know that ski that can do it all? The one that slarves, slashes, jumps, and cuts? The one that can bounce pillows to the ground floor, hit jumps late into the afternoon sun, and charge through tracked-out pow? People say it doesn’t exist, but we’re here to tell you otherwise.
The Reckoner 112 is all you need, no matter what the mountain throws at you. Spectral Braid construction, All-Terrain Twin Rocker, and a fir/aspen Double Barrel core come together to keep this ski light, lively and playful.
K2 Pettitor 120
If your ideal day out in the mountains involves blasting and airing, or hooting and hollering, the K2 Pettitor’s have your name all over them. These fatties, equipped with a 120 mm waist, ample taper in both the tip and tail, and a fluid-flexing full wood core are the ticket to fun-loving pow brapping. 147-120-141
K2 Remedy
This widest women’s freeride ski from K2 provides the most float for deep powder but is built with a twin tip for easy release in soft snow and added maneuverability. 146-117-134
K2 Pontoon

Burton Flight Attendant
Designed to be a terrain-slaying alternative to more traditional twin shapes, the Burton Flight Attendant is a free spirit that dissects both pow and hard-pack with equal precision. Balanced Freeride Geometry is the secret with setback camber and sidecut that are centered on your stance to create a twin freestyle feel when riding flat base. On edge the board turns tight and quick, with entry rocker and taper for added float and flow. Burton Fish
The Terje Haakonsen and JG-designed Burton Fish changes the way you ride powder.
Built for speed and tapered more than any board in the line, it combines S-Rocker with a Swallow Tail to further enhance float, punch, and acceleration.

Trapper Ursa Major
The design of the Ursa incorporates a long kick in the nose which gives the board a shorter running length compared to its overall length.
This gives the board a shorter feel while still providing the stability and float of a larger board in soft conditions.
Available in 160 and 165cm.
Prior Fissile
Profile-Nose Rocker: Provides flotation and predictability in powder of all kinds, while it also allows the board to initiate sooner.
