What To Bring

Please note that we have strict weight limits that we must abide by in order to meet helicopter transfer regulations. Please note that if you’ve visited Chatter Creek in the past, you will find that we are stricter than ever in order to meet these regulations.  We appreciate your understanding!

Suggested Packing List:

  • 1 pair of powder skis, boots, poles (no ski bag) – rental skis are available at the lodge.
  • OR snowboard and boots (no bag).
  • If you are renting a snowboard and require size SM/MD bindings, we recommend bringing your own (we only have size Medium & Large).
  • Quality goggles and gloves
  • Outerwear suitable for all conditions and temperatures. Please wear on the helicopter to save space.
  • Sunglasses and sunscreen.
  • Layers to add or take off. (If you get too warm or add if it’s cold)
  • Bathing suit for the hot tub (towels provided).
  • Slippers to wear in the lodge.
  • Comfortable clothing for after skiing
  • Prescriptions: carry in 2 places: one with you and one with your luggage, in case your luggage gets misplaced.
  • We take Visa or MC for lodge purchases.
  • Camera

Please do NOT bring:

  • Large hard-sided suitcases.

Chatter has the following, so you don’t need to pack these items:

  • Blow dryers (we have some to lend you)
  • Alcoholic beverages (we sell it at the lodge)
  • Hand and toe warmers
  • Ski poles
  • Avalanche airbag pack, transceiver, probe and shovel
  • Shampoo, conditioner and body wash
  • Towels for in rooms as well as hot tub / sauna towels
