Cat Skiing Rates & Availability 2026 / 2027

Situated deep in the Rocky Mountains of British Columbia, Chatter Creek is one of the largest, snowiest and most spectacular cat-skiing destinations in the world.

The cat-skiing terrain at Chatter Creek is a gigantic domain covering 58,000 acres or 235 square kilometers providing incredible variety, with over 100 named descents and runs of up to 4,000 vertical feet. Our snowcat road network is close to 200 km and provides access to terrain that includes a mix of tree skiing, vast alpine bowls and spectacular glaciers. The views of the Rockies to the east include the Columbia and Clemenceau icefields and the Selkirks to the west, Mount Sir Sandford and the Adamants, are unparalleled.

This amazing place, Chatter Creek, is only a 3-hour drive and a gorgeous helicopter flight from Canada’s fourth largest city, Calgary, Alberta.

Chatter Creek’s unique location on the western slopes of the Canadian Rockies benefits from a unique air mass which produces some of the lightest, driest powder snow in the world. We receive numerous major storms crossing the Monashee and Selkirk Mountains to the west, which grant us reliable snow from early December to late April.

At any one time, this vast area is shared by no more than 42 guests and their guides.

Chatter Creek opens in early December. Historically our keen skiers and snowboarders have enjoyed amazing snow conditions and skied bottomless Chatter Creek powder long before many people are even thinking about heading to the mountains! For early season tours commencing on or before December 13th, a full cash refund will be issued if the tour is cancelled due to early season conditions. For all other tours commencing from December 14th to the end of the operating season, the standard booking and cancellation policy applies.
