Chatter Creeks lodge is eighty kilometers off the grid. It’s quite a challenge to heat four large buildings and provide hot water and a hot tub for sixty people on a cold winter night. To do so, we use two large wood stoves situated outside the lodge. In this episode, Caimin explains what it takes to provide the approximately three hundred cords of firewood needed each winter up in the mountains.
