Chatter Creek Inaugural Ski Touring Program Sells Out for 17-18 Winter

For the first time ever, Chatter Creek is introducing an entirely new way for skiers and snowboarders to experience North America’s premiere cat-skiing destination. The 2017-2018 Winter will see the first ever groups of guided ski/board tourers enjoying what no group ever has before.
Chatter Creek’s small groups and limited cats have meant that finding untouched lines and a true backcountry experience has never been an issue, but it’s always meant that a very limited number of people get to experience the powder paradise. After careful consideration, the brains of Chatter determined that bringing in small groups of self-powered groups would allow more people to experience the terrain without having an impact on the cat skiing groups’ fresh lines.

The Ski Touring groups will experience Chatter much like the cat-skiing groups, including enjoying a helicopter transfer into the Lodge, comfortable lodging, gourmet food and a professionally guided experience. Says Lead Guide Josh Milligan, “We’re looking forward to the touring option that we’re offering this season. It’s a great opportunity for self powered exploration of the spectacular terrain that Chatter Creek has to offer.”
For year one of the program, Chatter opened up five tours for Ski Touring. Within two weeks of announcing the program, every seat was sold out! Thanks to everyone who booked – we look forward to opening up more seats in future years to welcome more guests to this amazing place.
