Cancellation and Other Insurance

Chatter Creek strongly recommends that you consider purchasing trip insurance which covers you for cancellation, delay or injury. You will not receive a refund from Chatter Creek if you do not take your trip or your trip is curtailed by an incident happening either before your arrival or during your ski holiday.

You should also ensure that you have adequate medical and evacuation insurance to cover you in the event of injury.

If you would like to book your insurance please do so by contacting Wanetta at revelstoke@uniglobespecialty.com or at 1-866-667-0811.

For more information, you can download the CCML Insurance Brochure and/or CCML Enrol. Those forms belong to Uniglobe and Chatter Creek is not responsible for any misinformation.

      Helmets:

Chatter Creek Mountain Lodges recommends wearing helmets for skiing and riding. Skiers and snowboarders are encouraged to educate themselves on the benefits and limitations of helmet usage. The primary safety consideration and obligation under the Alpine Responsibility Code, is to ski and ride in a controlled and responsible manner. What Time To Arrive

You will be assigned an arrival time which will be emailed to you a month before your trip in your itinerary.

Please note that Donald is located in the Mountain Time Zone. (Same time zone as Calgary)

The same flight order will be used when you depart the lodge.

Please arrive on time, as late arrivals cause flight scheduling problems for all guests. If you are late, your flight may have to leave without you. Ground transportation may be available to take you to the lodge but this is not guaranteed. Operational constraints may mean that it is not possible to take you to the lodge by ground on the day you arrive, in which case you will be responsible for your accommodation costs until we are able to transport you.

In the event that ground transportation can be provided, late-arriving guests will be charged an additional $350.

Flight times are important and rigid. The helicopters must be back on the ground in Donald thirty minutes before dark to comply with Transport Canada daylight flying regulations.

      Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA)

Entry requirement now in effect: visa-exempt foreign nationals who fly to, or transit through a Canadian airport, need an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). Exceptions include U.S. citizens and travelers with a valid Canadian visa.

Visa-exempt travelers do not need an eTA when entering Canada by land (e.g. car or bus) or sea (e.g. cruise ship).

An eTA can be valid for up to five years or until your passport expires. If you get a new passport, you will need to get a new eTA. With a valid eTA you can travel to Canada as often as you want for short stays (normally for up to six months at a time).

Click here to be redirected to the Government of Canada’s official website to apply for an eTA. It only costs $7 CAD. Most eTA applications are approved within minutes of applying.
